Introduction
In my “vanity,” I was curious. I had to find out. Forgive my “vanity.”
Readership History
I own this website, Appalachian Irishman, until the socialists try to take it away from me. I will still have freedom to speak. That freedom may be the end of me, by the socialists. I will go down, after I've fired every written and verbal round. (That's my sarcastic, poly-tics humor, y'all.)
I see the “all time” viewer statistics. The internal link is Blogger Stats All Time. Y'all can't see it. I can.
3/6/2006, Monday, was the first article: HOW TO PRONOUNCE "APPALACHIAN" (published 3/6/2006; inaugural article).
The internal link shows annual view totals from 06/2010 through 01/2021. I can see to 02/2021 also. The internal link does not go back to 3/6/2006. I wish that it did. The following are the annual, by year, viewership totals. 2010 is six months only.
2011: 4,491 total
2012: 3,482 total
2013: 4,273 total
2014: 3,673 total
2015: 4,508 total
2016: 5,369 total
2017: 3,137 total
2018: 4,008 total
2019: 4,481 total
2020: 37,699 total
Views increased from 07/2020 through 12/2020. On Wednesday, 1/6/2021, views were 1,036. That was the most, in one day, from 9/1/2020 through 2/27/2021.
Conclusion
Thanks, y'all, for stopping by for coffee more often! I don't earn any money from this website. It is one of my free speech platforms.
What do I know? First, “if you write, they will read!” The number of articles published, by year, in reverse chronological order, are:
2019 (37)
2017 (1)
2016 (3)
2014 (2)
2013 (3)
2012 (1)
2011 (6)
2010 (10)
2009 (17)
2008 (3)
2006 (28)
I started writing and publishing more articles, in 2019 and 2020. “If you write it, they will read.” That's my new maxim.
Second, what happened in July 2020? Well, I have written about it. What happened on 1/6/2021? Well, I have written about it. (The official start of the USSA was on 1/6/2021.)
Finally, it seems that my readers enjoy my “poly-tics” articles the most. I may, if I can tolerate it, write more on “poly-tics,” but don't cross your fingers, in hope. Those type of articles drain me. I have enough power and will to write them. We will see.
